How to use this chord finder

  1. Step 1

    Type something like C#m7 or F sus4, or set root and chord type from the menus.

  2. Step 2

    Choose a voicing

    Flip through shapes for the same chord. Higher shapes move up the neck.

  3. Step 3

    Hear it

    Tap the diagram or play controls for a hit, strum, or arpeggio at your tempo.

    Build a short progression

Can I hear the chords?

Yes. Click the chord diagram or use Play chord. Pick a hit, down strum, up strum, or arpeggio, and set a tempo for progressions.

How many guitar chord shapes are included?

The library has more than two thousand guitar shapes across common and extended types: major, minor, 7, maj7, m7, sus, add9, diminished, augmented, and more. Ukulele chords are available too.

Can I build a chord progression?

Yes. Use the progression builder to load a preset (for example I-V-vi-IV) or fill slots yourself, then play the loop back with your chosen strum feel.

Does this convert a song into chords or tabs?
