Source quality
- Pick a clean, guitar-forward version of the song for the best transcription.
- A studio version usually transcribes better than a noisy live clip.
- Set the real tuning and instrument before converting for accurate fret mapping.
- Spotify's DRM-protected stream cannot be converted directly, by Tabtify or any tool.
- Use only audio you own or public sources you're allowed to transcribe.
