Standard 7-string tuning adds a low B under a normal six-string: B E A D G B E. The six upper strings are tuned exactly like a standard guitar, so every chord shape you know still works.
The low B, at 61.74 Hz, sounds quiet to a phone microphone. Pluck it firmly and hold the phone close to the guitar or amp; the tuner listens down to 30 Hz, so it will find it.

Tune to 7-String Standard by ear
Tune string 7 (B1) to a reference first: tap it in the tuner above, or use a piano or another instrument. Then tune each string to one that is already in tune:
- Play string 7 at fret 5, then tune open string 6 until the two sound the same (E2).
- Play string 6 at fret 5, then tune open string 5 until the two sound the same (A2).
- Play string 5 at fret 5, then tune open string 4 until the two sound the same (D3).
- Play string 4 at fret 5, then tune open string 3 until the two sound the same (G3).
- Play string 3 at fret 4, then tune open string 2 until the two sound the same (B3).
- Play string 2 at fret 5, then tune open string 1 until the two sound the same (E4).

Is a 7-string's low B the same note as Drop B?
Yes. The low B of a 7-string is B1, the same note the 6th string reaches in Drop B on a six-string guitar.
